BETA KAPPA OMEGA

IOTA PHI THETA FRATERNITY INC.

Our History

During the autumn of 1963, at Morgan State College, twelve visionary founders established the foundation for Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Incorporated. Anchored by the core tenets of Scholarship, Leadership, Citizenship, Fidelity, and Brotherhood, they built a society dedicated to the elevation of mankind.

This distinguished tradition extended to San Antonio, Texas, through the chartering of the Alumni Chapter, Beta Kappa Omega. Our chapter remains steadfastly committed to the uplift of our local community, diligently upholding the ancestral mission of our founders.

Since our inception, we have been at the forefront of community service, civil rights advocacy, and youth mentorship.  Our chapter embodies the fraternity's motto: "Building a Tradition, Not Resting Upon One."

We continuously strive to innovate in our service programs and leadership development, ensuring that our impact is felt across generations.
